Classifier

Automatically sort documents into categories using AI

How to use the Classifier

  1. 1Add documentsUpload one or several PDFs, Word files or images, or start from a ready-made set.
  2. 2Define the classesName the categories the documents can belong to. “unknown” is added for you.
  3. 3SortEach document gets one class, a confidence score and the reason for it.
  4. 4Review the resultSee how many documents each class got, filter by class, and check the reasons.
  • For a PDF or a Word file the classifier reads the first 1,000 characters of the text. For an image it looks at the whole image.
  • Every document is sorted on its own, and only into one class. Nothing is saved.

Start from a ready-made set of documents

1. The documents
Up to 10 files: PDF, DOCX, PNG or JPG, each up to 20 MB.
2. The classes
Each document gets exactly one of them. Add at least two.

This parser is good for any set of files when you are not sure which one to choose: it uses PyMuPDF for a PDF, DOCX for a Word file and Vision for an image.
